Job Summary:
The Sales Engineer is responsible for driving business growth by providing expert cybersecurity solutions to both new and existing customers. This role focuses on leveraging advanced cybersecurity platforms and MDR services to address client needs while contributing to the development of strategic solutions. The position offers opportunities for professional growth in a collaborative environment working closely with sales and technical teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with sales teams and customers to assess security needs, challenges, and priorities, crafting tailored solutions.
  2. Evangelize the company’s cybersecurity platforms and solutions to customers, stakeholders, and at industry events.
  3. Serve as a key advocate for MDR cybersecurity solutions, ensuring customer success through effective sales and proposal development.
  4. Partner with sales teams and strategic service provider SMARTTECH247 to develop winning proposals.
  5. Contribute to thought leadership and customer insights to advance the company’s cybersecurity expertise.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualification:

  1. Degree in Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  2. 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity sales engineering or solutions architect roles.
  3. Strong verbal and written communication skills for client presentations and technical documentation.
  4. Excellent time management skills for handling multiple tasks effectively.
  5. Strong verbal presentation and negotiation skills.

Desired Qualification:

  1. Additional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or relevant cybersecurity credentials.
  2. Experience in designing and delivering cybersecurity solutions for large enterprises or complex environments.
  3. Proficiency in industry-leading cybersecurity tools and platforms.
  4. Strong negotiation and proposal development skills.
  5. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including sales, product, and managed services.

Additional Information:

  1. Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
  2. Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS, Android, iOS).
  3. Basic understanding of networking and security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS).
  4. Ability to analyze and identify security risks.
  5. Good problem-solving and multitasking skills.
  6. Attention to detail and ability to document findings clearly.
  7. Knowledge of advanced threat detection and threat hunting.
  8. Familiarity with security scripting or automation (e.g. Python).
  9. Ability to handle incidents under pressure.
  10. Experience with cloud security tools (AWS, Azure).
  11. Strong teamwork and client communication skills.
