Job Title: Sales Engineer

Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Job Description:

Engineering organization in the U.A.E. requires Sales Engineers who should be young Indian males below 30 years of age, with a Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering, with a minimum of 3 years of experience with mechanical equipment used in civil construction and marine sectors.

Applicants must know Microsoft Office, along with excellent communication skills for professional dialogue and negotiations with local and international Clients.

The ideal candidate must have proven selling skills with techno-commercial buyers, the ability to prepare and deliver effective presentations and be willing to travel overseas for projects and product training.

Experience with engineering equipment used for mixing and pumping concrete, shotcrete, floor screed, grout plants, tunneling equipment, industrial vacuum systems, dredging pumps, amphibious excavators, and dredgers would be advantageous.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth product demonstrations tailored to client needs, showcasing technical features and benefits to drive interest.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer requirements and tailor solutions that meet their business objectives.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations that articulate complex concepts in a clear, engaging manner.
  • Provide expert advice on product applications, ensuring customers understand how to maximize the value from their investment.
  • Act as a liaison between engineering and sales, translating customer feedback into actionable insights for product development.
  • Support the sales process by responding to RFPs and RFQs with detailed technical specifications and proposals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, fostering trust and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape to provide informed recommendations to clients.
  • Assist in training sales team members on product features and technical aspects, enhancing their ability to sell effectively.
  • Participate in trade shows and industry events to promote products, network with potential clients, and gather market intelligence.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical).
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a technical sales or engineering role, preferably in the technology sector.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in additional languages will be considered an asset.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets through technical expertise and customer engagement.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated and goal-oriented.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure to address client challenges.
