Job Description

  • Conduct in-depth product demonstrations to articulate the technical features and benefits to potential clients, ensuring a clear understanding of solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop tailored proposals that align with client needs, leveraging technical expertise for maximum impact.
  • Analyze customer requirements and industry trends to provide insights that shape product development and strategic sales initiatives.
  • Act as a bridge between clients and the engineering team, translating customer feedback into actionable recommendations for product improvements.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations that showcase product capabilities, addressing client pain points and delivering effective solutions.
  • Assist in the design and configuration of solutions to meet specific customer needs, ensuring optimal performance and satisfaction.
  • Participate in trade shows and industry events to promote products, engage with potential clients, and gather market intelligence.
  • Provide post-sales support to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction, fostering long-term relationships.
  • Stay updated with industry advancements and competitor offerings, enabling proactive adjustments to sales strategies.
  • Train and mentor junior sales engineers and technical staff, sharing knowledge to enhance team capabilities and performance.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field, demonstrating a solid foundation in relevant principles.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales engineering role within the technology sector, showcasing a proven track record in technical sales.
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Sales Engineer (CSE) or Technical Sales Professional (TSP) are preferred for credibility.
  • Experience in the specific industry (e.g., software, telecommunications, manufacturing) to provide context and expertise to client discussions.
  • Strong proficiency in technical skills, including familiarity with product lifecycle management and solution architecture.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with proficiency in additional languages being a significant advantage for diverse markets.
  • Demonstrated soft skills, including strong negotiation, problem-solving, and relationship-building abilities to foster client trust.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated to achieve individual sales goals.
  • Proven analytical skills to interpret data and customer feedback, driving strategic decision-making processes.
