Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Sales Engineer with a strong technical background to drive sales of our cutting-edge software solutions in Dubai. This role combines technical expertise with sales acumen to promote and sell our software products, specifically in the electrical power systems domain. Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies for our software solutions, focusing on electrical power system analysis software. Achieve and exceed sales targets by identifying and securing new business opportunities.
- Technical Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the features and benefits of our software solutions. Tailor presentations to meet the specific needs and interests of potential customers.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing expert advice and addressing their needs. Offer technical support and solutions to ensure client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Market Research & Analysis: Analyze the Dubai market to identify potential clients, understand market trends, and uncover opportunities for growth. Provide insights and feedback to enhance our software products and sales approach.
- Proposal & Documentation Preparation: Prepare detailed proposals, technical documentation, and reports for clients and senior management. Ensure all documentation clearly communicates the value and capabilities of our software solutions.
- Site Visits & Consultations: Travel to client sites for face-to-face meetings, product demonstrations, and technical consultations as needed. Gather requirements and feedback to refine solutions and meet client expectations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the product development and technical support teams to address client needs, resolve issues, and ensure successful implementation of our software solutions.
Required Skills and Experience:
Technical Knowledge: 2-7 years of experience in technical sales or software sales, preferably with a background in electrical power systems or related fields. Familiarity with power system analysis software (e.g., Mi-Power, ETAP, CYMDIST, EDSA, SKM, Dig-Silent) is advantageous.
