Job Description
You will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Business Development:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across corporate, entertainment, and live event sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event organisers, and industry partners.
- Pitch event production solutions, including staging, AV, lighting, and technical services.
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for high-profile clients and event planners.
- Understand client needs and provide customized production solutions.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to drive revenue growth.
- Ensure a seamless client experience from proposal to event execution.
- Lead, mentor, and support the sales team to achieve performance objectives.
- Work closely with marketing, production, and operations teams to ensure seamless event execution.
- Conduct sales training, performance reviews, and professional development initiatives.
Market Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
- Generate regular sales reports, forecasts, and insights for senior management.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust strategies accordingly.
Event Execution & Support:
- Assist in planning and overseeing major events to ensure client satisfaction.
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities to expand the company's presence.
- Facilitate smooth handover processes from sales to event management teams.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of sales experience, preferably in the events, exhibition, or entertainment industry.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Leadership experience with a focus on team development and performance management.
- In-depth knowledge of event planning, technical production, and event industry trends.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Knowledge of CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
- A valid driver's license is an advantage.
