Job Description: Sales Director - Middle East and Africa

Location: Dubai

Position Overview:

My client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Director to lead our sales team in the Middle East and Africa region. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and achieving sales targets for the region. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in sales management, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in the industrial sector, preferably within the pump industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives for the Middle East and Africa region.
  2. Manage and lead a high-performing sales team, including recruitment, training, development, and performance evaluation.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners to expand the company’s market presence.
  4. Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to penetrate new markets.
  5. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new opportunities for growth.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, engineering, and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  7. Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to the senior management team.
  8. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
  2. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the industrial sector or pump industry.
  3. Strong oil and gas background essential.
  4. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  5. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
  6. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  7. Ability to work in a multicultural environment and travel extensively within the region.
  8. Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic or French is an advantage.
