Sales Coordinator - (Automotive - Electric Vehicles)

Job Summary
The Sales Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting the sales team and ensuring smooth daily operations within the car showroom. This position requires exceptional organizational, communication, and customer service skills to assist with coordinating sales activities, maintaining records, and enhancing the overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Support:
    • Assist the sales team in preparing and processing sales contracts, invoices, and related documentation.
    • Coordinate with the finance and registration teams to ensure timely completion of vehicle financing, insurance, and registration processes.
    • Maintain an updated database of vehicles in stock, pricing, and promotions to assist the sales team and customers effectively.
  • Customer Engagement:
    • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and providing updates on vehicle delivery timelines.
    • Handle customer follow-ups, ensuring all requirements are met and any concerns are resolved promptly.
    • Coordinate test drive schedules and ensure a seamless customer experience during visits to the showroom.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Track and manage vehicle inventory, ensuring timely updates on availability and assisting in stock audits.
    • Collaborate with the logistics team to monitor vehicle deliveries to the showroom and coordinate their preparation for display or delivery to customers.
  • Sales Reporting:
    • Prepare regular sales performance reports and dashboards for management, highlighting key metrics and trends.
    • Monitor and report on showroom footfall, customer inquiries, and conversion rates to support strategic decision-making.
  • Marketing and Promotions Coordination:
    • Assist in coordinating showroom events, promotional activities, and campaigns.
    • Ensure all promotional materials and vehicle displays are up-to-date and align with marketing guidelines.
  • Administrative Tasks:
    • Maintain and organize sales documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
    • Provide administrative support to the sales team, including scheduling meetings and preparing presentations.
    • Handle correspondence and communication with internal and external stakeholders as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
  • 5-6 years of experience in a sales support or coordination role, preferably in the automotive or retail sector.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer-focused attitude with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry and showroom operations is an advantage.
