We are seeking a dynamic and organized Sales Coordinator to join our team in the chemical manufacturing and Hardware Tools business. The Sales Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting the sales team by effectively managing administrative tasks, coordinating client communications, and ensuring the smooth execution of sales processes. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales Support:
  • Assist the sales team in preparing quotations and proposals.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to gather relevant information for client requests.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, sales activities, and status updates.
  • Client Communication:
    • Act as a point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing product/service information, and ensuring excellent customer service.
    • Schedule and organize meetings between clients and sales team members.
    • Follow up with clients to gather feedback and assess their satisfaction levels.
  • Administrative Tasks:
    • Manage and organize sales-related documentation, contracts, and agreements.
    • Assist in tracking sales orders, deliveries, and project timelines.
    • Prepare and distribute internal reports on sales performance and key metrics.
  • Coordination:
    • Collaborate with the operations and project management teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to project execution.
    • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing, availability, and other relevant information.
  • Market Research:
    • Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and potential market opportunities.
    • Provide insights to the sales team based on gathered market intelligence.
  • Relationship Building:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
    • Act as a bridge between clients and the sales team to ensure effective communication.
  • Sales Coordination:
    • Assist in organizing sales events, exhibitions, and promotional activities.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create sales collateral and materials.

    Qualifications And Requirements

    1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Marketing.
    2. Master’s in Business Administration in Marketing/Sales/Finance is highly preferred.
    3. Proven experience of 3 years in a sales coordination or support role.
    4. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
    5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    7. Exposure to working with ERP software is desirable.
    8. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and documentation.
    9. Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in fast-paced situations.
    10. Customer-focused mindset with a dedication to delivering exceptional service.
    11. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required.
    12. Knowledge of the chemical manufacturing/Metal finishing industry trends is a plus.
