Job description

Foreground is partnering with a leading outdoor media company in the UAE to hire a dynamic and experienced Senior Finance Manager . This role is pivotal in driving financial strategy, ensuring robust financial health, and supporting long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Financial Leadership : Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives and ensure sustainable growth.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting : Lead the budgeting process, monitor financial performance, and provide accurate forecasts to the management team.
  • Financial Reporting : Oversee the preparation and presentation of timely and accurate financial reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Regulatory Compliance : Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT, corporate tax regulations, and other financial laws.
  • Risk Management : Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard the companys assets and profitability.
  • Team Leadership : Build and lead a high-performing finance team, mentoring and empowering them to achieve excellence.
  • Cost Control : Monitor and control costs across the organization, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with internal departments and external stakeholders, such as auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
  • System and Process Optimization : Drive the adoption of advanced financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Professional certification such as ACCA, CA, CPA, or CMA is required.
  • Strong expertise in financial planning, analysis, and regulatory compliance in the UAE.
  • Proven experience in managing large budgets and driving cost-efficiency initiatives.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software and tools, including ERP systems and MS Excel.
  • Background in media, advertising, or related industries is preferred but not mandatory.
