Sales Consultant to Key Account Manager – Building and Construction Materials

We are looking for a motivated and dynamic individual to fill a Sales position within our team in the building materials industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling a diverse range of products, including sealants, drill bits, abrasives for cutting and sanding, anchor bolts, fasteners, power tools, and personal protective equipment.

This role requires a results-driven individual with excellent communication skills to identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and drive sales growth.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell a variety of building material products to construction companies and professionals.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the construction sector.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Provide expert product knowledge and tailored solutions to meet client needs.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to company revenue growth.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor products to effectively position offerings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the latest market trends and provide customized business solutions.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A degree in any field or an Engineering degree, or relevant prior experience in sales with a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets in the industry.
  • 2-5 years of relevant sales experience, preferably within the building materials or related industry, with a strong understanding of products such as sealants, anchors, fasteners, drill bits, cutting and grinding discs, abrasives, hand tools, power tools, PPEs, and other related items.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Demonstrated expertise in analyzing market data and developing effective sales strategies.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Fluent in English, with proficiency in Arabic or other languages considered a plus.
  • Candidate must be based in Dubai and hold a valid UAE driving license.
