Actively sell Mercedes-Benz products to support the distributor's sales volume and gross profit target. Conduct the sales process in a professional manner that is both service-oriented and reflects the Mercedes-Benz brand image to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction while always acting according to distributor policies. Actively prospect, follow all sales leads, acquire new customers, and develop long-term customer relationships.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Sales: Assist customers in selecting available Mercedes-Benz products by undertaking an in-depth needs analysis. Explain vehicle performance, product details, features, and benefits according to the Mercedes-Benz sales process. Effectively follow sales procedures to close a sale. Qualify buyers to understand their requirements and interests, present/match those to various models, explain features, and close the sale by overcoming objections.
Operation: Facilitate that relevant paperwork, car registration, and/or insurance documentation is completed according to distributor policies. Introduce the customer to the After-Sales department. Create a target-focused plan for new customer acquisition using a prospect development system. Gain expert product knowledge on Mercedes-Benz and competitor products, features, and accessories, and update this regularly.
Customer Satisfaction: Continuously update company product knowledge and competitive product knowledge related to all car brands and types. Ensure customer satisfaction as per company Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) guidelines. Conduct post-sale follow-up to attract new and retain existing customers. Actively promote finance and insurance products.
Autoline Database: Ensure smooth completion of the sales contract and associated documentation. Maintain an active customer profile database to ensure all relevant details are up to date. Accurately collect customer and vehicle information to upload it in the Dealer Management System (Autoline).
Reports: Prepare and submit reports such as weekly plans, activity and results reports related to issues resolution for the Sales Manager and management review. Effectively carry out market intelligence to monitor competitors' products, pricing, and promotional activities versus own market share.
Job Specific Information: The Sales Consultant will operate in a dynamic environment and closely work with walk-in customers at the showroom to sell Mercedes-Benz Cars.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, COMPETENCIES
Secondary School Education Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in sales and customer relationship management, with at least 1 year in PC sales.
