Job Description

• Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately using POS systems, ensuring a seamless checkout experience.
• Engage with customers to provide exceptional service, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues related to purchases.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring that products and promotional materials are well-displayed.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision, and perform end-of-day cash reconciliation.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting discrepancies to management.
• Promote loyalty programs and upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction and sales performance.
• Adhere to all security and safety protocols to protect store assets and ensure a safe shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.
• Stay updated on product knowledge, promotions, and store policies to provide informed assistance to customers.

Desired Candidate Profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in retail or business is an advantage.
• 1-2 years of experience in a retail or customer service role, demonstrating cash handling proficiency.
• Certification in customer service or cash handling practices is a plus.
• Experience in fast-paced retail environments, showcasing adaptability and efficiency under pressure.
• Preference for candidates with a background in food service or hospitality industries.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is mandatory, additional language skills Spanish, Mandarin are highly valued.
• Proficient in using electronic cash registers and POS systems, with basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers and team members.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a customer-first mindset, able to handle challenging situations gracefully.
• Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights, as required in retail settings.
• Physically capable of working in straight duty if needed.
• Flexible and works during any of the public holidays.
