Job description

Overview: We are in search of a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to enhance our book distribution team. The successful candidate will be tasked with generating new leads, acquiring customers, and driving revenue growth within schools, colleges, bookstores, corporate clients, and beyond. This position requires exceptional communication abilities, strategic acumen, and a genuine enthusiasm for the literary industry. The candidate MUST have a prior experience of selling books in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Proactively identify and target potential customers, including schools, colleges, bookstores, and corporate clients.
  • Customer Acquisition: Develop and implement strategies to attract new clients and expand the company's customer base.
  • Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth by developing and executing sales strategies tailored to different customer segments.
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated with industry trends.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients, showcasing our product offerings and unique value proposition.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and product development teams to align business development strategies with company goals.
  • Reporting: Track and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of the book distribution industry and market dynamics in the UAE.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Valid UAE driving license is a MUST.
