Sales Account Manager - Dubai/Abu Dhabi (IT Services and IT Consulting)

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients in the IT Services and Consulting sector to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base, leveraging market research and industry trends.
  • Conduct in-depth needs analysis for clients to tailor IT solutions that drive their business objectives effectively.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to provide clients with innovative solutions, ensuring alignment with their strategic goals.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals that highlight the value of IT services offered.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that support business profitability.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions and sales tactics.
  • Manage the sales pipeline, tracking leads, opportunities, and account status using CRM tools for accurate forecasting.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on sales performance and client feedback.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on all client inquiries and issues to foster long-term business relationships.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • A minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in IT Services or Consulting, with a strong track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or Sales Management certifications to demonstrate expertise in the field.
  • Experience working in the UAE market, with a deep understanding of local business practices and cultural nuances.
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Arabic or other languages is highly advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret market data and client needs, transforming insights into actionable strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire confidence in stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive approach to identifying and solving client challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while taking initiative on individual projects.
  • Adaptability to rapidly changing market conditions and the ability to pivot strategies to meet evolving client needs.
