Qualifications:

• Diploma (Civil), Bachelor of Technology/Engineering (Civil)
• Nationality: Any Arab National, Any Nationality

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Provide training and education programs for employees on safety practices, emergency response, and hazard recognition.
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrences.
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and employee training to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor safety performance metrics and prepare reports for management to evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs.
• Stay updated on industry regulations, standards, and best practices to ensure the organization remains compliant.
• Act as a resource for employees by providing guidance on safety-related inquiries and concerns.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Minimum of 6 years of work experience in a safety officer role within UAE construction companies.
• Strong knowledge of local and international safety regulations and standards applicable to the industry.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey safety information.
• Ability to conduct thorough investigations and prepare detailed reports on safety incidents.
• Physical ability to perform site inspections and participate in safety drills and emergency response activities.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on continuous improvement in safety practices.
