Safety Officer

Job Responsibilities:

1. Identify and assess hazards, risks and control measures for a specific operation or process.
2. Conduct ongoing reviews of operations and processes to identify potential hazards, risks and control measures that should be implemented to reduce these risks, including all costs involved in implementing such measures.
3. Assess and document hazards, risks and controls in a manner consistent with established procedures and practices.
4. Set up and supervise temporary work areas.
5. Supervise the safe handling, storage & disposal of hazardous materials.
6. Supervise the operation of any potential hazards in the workplace.
7. Improve workplace safety and employee productivity by transitioning from manual safety procedures to digital safety management systems.
8. Ensure that all company employees meet all OSHA requirements.
9. Provide OSHA training, if necessary.
10. Ensure that health, safety, and environmental policies are followed.
11. Investigate workplace accidents and injuries and refer them to the proper authorities.
12. Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by management.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have a Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Engineering and with Nebosh IGC.

Education:

• Diploma (Required)

Experience:

• Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Fertilizer Industry HSE: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Certificate or Permit With ADNOC as Safety officer (Required)
