Safety Engineer

A 30 year old construction company in Dubai, UAE is looking to hire a Safety Engineer that is approved by Trakhees and has passed with the SARS certification. The role includes the following responsibilities:

• Minimum 5 years GCC and preferable UAE experience in the safety field in construction of residential buildings.
• Preparing method of statements for all construction activities related to the safety aspect.
• Coordinate the safety work in the projects with all the other teams such as the civil and MEP subcontractors (such as fire fighting, fire alarm, low current, HVAC, BMS, LPG, etc.).
• Distribute the safety work required on site to the workers and evaluate their performance.
• Follow up on the progress of work and create working schedules to finish tasks in a time efficient way.
• Dealing with the authorities and handing over of the projects to all the relevant authorities such as Dubai Municipality, EHS Trakhees, etc.
