Safety Advisor – Health, Safety and Environment

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor of Science (Bachelor's degree in science or HSE or equivalent from a recognized university)
2. 4-5 years of experience in a similar field
3. Recognized qualification in HSE such as NEBOSH IGC or NVQ
4. Lead/Internal Auditor qualification in HSE management system (ISO 45001 / 14001)
5. Basic First Aid and Fire Fighting training
6. Good knowledge in implementing HSE standards including policy/procedures, ISO standards such as ISO 45001, 14001
7. Knowledge of the UAE HSE legislation, code of practice & municipality guidelines, OSHAD or other emirates HSE regulations
8. Holding a valid UAE driving license
9. Good communicator (written and spoken)
10. Excellent knowledge of MS Office
11. Good in report writing
12. Critical thinking and analytical approach

Job Description:

The Safety Advisor HSE will be responsible for developing and implementing the Health & Safety Management system at Transguard worksites and ensuring its compliance with International Safety Standards (ISO 45001 & 14001). This position will develop guidelines in coordination with the HSE Manager for the HSE management of operations and standards. The HSE Advisor will provide information, giving technical guidance on all Health, Safety, Wellbeing, and Environmental matters, identifying and advising on current and future requirements, and ensuring that systems, policies, and processes are in place to prevent incidents and support the continuing development of a HSE culture across the organization.
