Make your mark as a Roughneck at Horizon Geosciences!

As a roughneck, you will be part of the drilling crew to assist with all drilling, mobilizing, de-mobilizing, and maintenance operations.

Your responsibilities as a roughneck

• Assist with tool and pipe handling.
• Assist with sample recovery.
• Assist with maintenance and upkeep of equipment and machinery.
• Responsible for mud mixing as per the driller’s instruction and monitoring and maintaining mud levels.
• Assisting with crane and material moving operations including rigging and slinging.
• Always ensuring personal safety and the safety of colleagues.
• Provide active participation in the form of adherence to and improvement of the company’s integrated management system.
• Encourage working methods that promote health and safety and challenge those who do not work in a safe manner.

Your qualities and experience

You can make your mark as a roughneck if you have:

• Experience of manual working in difficult conditions would be beneficial.
• A good understanding of the English Language.
