Room Attendant
Job description
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, public areas, and exterior areas to brand standards, ensuring they are well presented at all times.
- Report maintenance defects in guest rooms, public areas, and back of house through KnowCross.
- Adhere to all brand standards and quality audit standards throughout the hotel.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety standards when handling cleaning materials.
- Provide exceptional customer care, maintaining a friendly and helpful attitude even when faced with challenges.
- Assist with other tasks to support the housekeeping team as required.
- Attend all required training sessions and continuously improve your skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping experience in a luxury hotel environment is preferred.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills with good problem-solving abilities.
- Physical fitness to stand, lift, push, and pull for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safe handling of chemicals.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages beneficial.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment managing multiple tasks.
- Positive attitude and adaptability to challenging situations.
