Job Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure a pristine environment, adhering to hotel standards.
  • Restock room amenities and supplies meticulously, including toiletries, linens, and coffee supplies, to enhance the guest experience.
  • Inspect and maintain the functionality of room equipment and fixtures, promptly reporting any maintenance issues to ensure guest comfort.
  • Respond to guest requests and inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, aiming to exceed expectations in service.
  • Effectively manage time to complete assigned rooms within a specified timeframe while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the housekeeping team to ensure smooth operations and communication, fostering a supportive work environment.
  • Follow safety and sanitation protocols strictly, ensuring compliance with health regulations to provide a safe atmosphere for guests and staff.
  • Perform deep cleaning tasks, such as carpet shampooing and window washing, on a scheduled basis to maintain a fresh appearance.
  • Document and report lost and found items, ensuring all procedures are followed for guest recovery and inventory tracking.
  • Participate in training sessions and staff meetings to keep up-to-date with hotel policies and enhance service delivery.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Proficiency in English is required; additional language skills are beneficial for effective guest communication.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, including safe handling and usage practices, is essential for this role.
  • Certification in hospitality services or housekeeping practices is a plus, showcasing commitment to the profession.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, demonstrating a foundational level of education.
  • Strong attention to detail is crucial, ensuring every corner of the room meets high cleanliness standards.
  • Excellent time management skills are necessary to efficiently complete tasks within tight schedules.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, fostering collaboration and supporting colleagues.
  • Physical stamina and strength are important, as the role involves lifting, bending, and prolonged standing.
