We are seeking a very hands-on female (for cultural reasons) Head Housekeeper to lead a small Housekeeping team for a lovely European Family based in Dubai Marina, UAE.

Leading by example and participating in all operations, the Head Housekeeper will ensure a 5* environment for the household using the procedures, checklists, and guidelines that are already in place.

The Head Housekeeper is supported by two Housekeepers who assist with cleaning duties, light cooking, and occasional childcare. There is also a Family Cook and a Household Manager who covers property management and staff management duties.

Reporting to the House Manager, the role involves thorough hands-on housekeeping of the whole property such as mopping, sweeping, dusting, ironing, and handling the laundry to the highest household standards and leading by example.

You will train the other Housekeepers to required standards and help them achieve their full potential, ensuring their mindset is consistent with the family’s visions and principles. You will learn, administer, and contribute to procedures & checklists – and ensure staff adherence. Although not a child-care role, you should be comfortable working around two children and pets. Occasional light cooking and meal preparation may also be asked, in addition to occasional travel.

Most importantly, you will foster a positive work environment focused on respect, professionalism, and efficiency. You will monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback when necessary, supported by the House Manager. You will be positive, resilient, kind, and used to leading a small team.
