Position Summary:

We are seeking a Rice & Grain Marketing Manager to lead the marketing efforts for our range of rice and grain products. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the food industry, particularly in rice and grains, and a strong understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and brand development. This role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to drive growth, increase market share, and create impactful marketing campaigns for our rice and grain products.

As the Rice & Grain Marketing Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, product development, and supply chain to ensure effective marketing strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct market research to understand customer preferences, emerging trends, and competitor activities in the rice and grain industry.
2. Use data-driven insights to identify target markets, consumer behaviors, and opportunities for product positioning and growth.
3. Strategic Marketing Planning:
4. Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive awareness, adoption, and sales of rice and grain products.
5. Identify key growth opportunities in both domestic and international markets and tailor strategies accordingly.
6. Set and achieve measurable marketing goals and KPIs to ensure alignment with business objectives.
7. Brand Development & Positioning:
8. Oversee the development and positioning of rice and grain products, ensuring they align with the brand's vision, mission, and market needs.
9. Create strong, compelling messaging that communicates the unique benefits and value of the products.
10. Manage the brand identity and consistency across all touchpoints, including packaging, advertising, and digital presence.
11. Product Launches & Promotions:
12. Lead product launches, coordinating with product development, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure successful market introductions.
13. Plan and execute promotional campaigns, including special offers, discounts, and seasonal campaigns, to drive sales and enhance brand visibility.
14. Digital Marketing & E-Commerce:
15. Oversee the digital marketing strategy for rice and grain products, including social media, SEO, email marketing, and online advertising.
16. Manage the company’s online presence and optimize e-commerce platforms (e.g., company website, online marketplaces) to increase direct-to-consumer sales.
17. Work closely with the sales team to develop go-to-market strategies, sales materials, and product positioning to drive customer acquisition and retention.
18. Assist in identifying and securing new retail and distribution partners, both locally and globally.
19. Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure product availability and meet market demand.
20. Content Creation & Communication:
21. Create and oversee the development of marketing content, including brochures, presentations, product descriptions, and social media content.
22. Develop engaging stories and educational content to highlight the nutritional value and versatility of rice and grain products.
23. Budget Management:
24. Manage the marketing budget for rice and grain products, ensuring that campaigns are executed within budget and that resources are allocated efficiently to maximize ROI.
25. Track marketing spend and adjust strategies to optimize resource allocation.
26. Performance Analysis & Reporting:
27. Analyze and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights on metrics like brand awareness, consumer engagement, sales, and market share.
28. Use analytics tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and continuously improve marketing strategies.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Agriculture, or a related field. A Masters degree or MBA is a plus.
2. Experience: At least 5-7 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on food products or agriculture (rice and grains experience is preferred). Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns in the food industry.
3. Skills: Strong knowledge of the rice and grain industry, including consumer trends, distribution channels, and market dynamics. Expertise in digital marketing, social media management, SEO, email marketing, and e-commerce platforms. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling marketing messages. Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficient in using marketing tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, social media platforms, and marketing automation tools.
