Revit Architect

Our Multi Award winning Architecture & Design client has a new requirement for a well experienced Revit Architect to join their team in Dubai to work on a new build hospitality, residential and high rise projects in the UAE and MENA region. Successful candidates will have proven regional experience as a Design Architect ideally with a recognised consultancy company background.

This role is available for immediate joining and is an initial 3-6 Month contract position as an outsource employed by J10 Consulting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing architectural design (using Revit) based on design brief - from concept to detailed design and tender documents.
• Working with a team of designers, evaluating individual design, reviewing drafts and computer models, and approving design changes/deliverables, as well as overall team performance.
• Coordinating the design with Structural & MEP Engineers.
• Preparation of drawings and details.
• Present design proposals and bids to clients according to prescribed deadlines, and explain relevant details, reports, expense line items, and goals in clear and persuasive language.
• Formulate design concepts for projects with ability to digest and interpret design concepts and directions from the Director and proceed with design development.
• Development of conceptual design solutions to the design problems and parameters agreed with the client and as contained in the Brief together with providing assistance to the Project Leader and Director in the presentation of those solutions to the client.
• Development and maintenance of a reputation and acceptance, both outside and within the client as a skilled and innovative designer.
• To keep abreast of developments in design techniques and trends.
• Acting as a mentor to other designers within their studio.
• Undertaking thorough research of both the client's needs and requirements and other similar or related projects to gain a full understanding of the design problems and parameters.
• Assisting the Director in the formulation of the Client Brief for the project in conjunction with the client.
• In producing the conceptual design solution, awareness of and response to the strategic, financial and time planning for the project.
• To assist the Director and Project Leader in the formulation of the client brief and then to undertake the management of the schematic design process.
• To provide leadership to the Project Team and to undertaking an ongoing review of subsequent stages of the project to ensure that the integrity of the agreed design solutions are maintained particularly with regard to development of the design and late variations to the design brief.

Desired Candidate Profile

Revit Architect Experience:

Education: Bachelor in Architecture.

Experience must have a minimum of 4 years, with the most recent experience in UAE - 1 year minimum, and MUST have worked for well-regarded design consultancies as opposed to Contractors.

Software: Autodesk REVIT essential, proficiency in Rhino, Grasshopper, Enscape is preferred.

Experience of conceptualising and creative designing of new build hospitality, residential and high rise projects.

Strong experience in Concept, creative design up to detail design phases of projects.
