The Revenue Analyst will assist the Revenue Manager in overseeing the process of collecting and organizing analytical data related to the company’s revenue, sales, and other financial activities.
The Revenue Analyst is responsible for providing detailed reporting and analytical support across all revenue-generating departments, including Rooms, Food & Beverage, Spa, and Sports & Leisure. This role assists the Revenue Manager in daily rate and inventory management and ensures seamless operations in their absence. The Revenue Analyst actively contributes to strategic decision-making by developing, maintaining, and analyzing data to optimize business performance, maximize revenue, and support budgeting and forecasting efforts.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Provide reporting and analytical assistance to all revenue-generating departments: Rooms, F&B, Spa, and Sports & Leisure.
Develop, maintain, and analyze production reports to support business performance reviews, pricing strategies, customer behavior insights, competitive intelligence, forecasting, and budgeting.
Conduct ad-hoc reports and analyses as needed.
Assist the Revenue Manager with daily rate and inventory management.
Perform all revenue management functions in the Revenue Manager's absence.
Update weekly forecasts and yield reports, attend relevant meetings, and contribute insights.
Monitor OTA market segments and set production goals.
Review online content for compliance, placement, and exposure optimization.
Review group cut-off dates to ensure proper inventory allocation.
Lead weekly Group Pick-Up Meetings with the Events Manager to review group bookings and inventory.
Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors across departments.
Assist the Revenue Manager with monthly hotel revenue forecasts and annual budget preparation.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject, such as revenue management, hotel management, economics, or a discipline focusing on data analysis.
Good spoken and written English.
Qualification in Revenue Management.
At least 2 years of experience in a similar job in a five-star hotel or corporate office.
Middle East experience.
Knowledge of Opera Cloud.
Knowledge of Revenue Management Tools.
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong analytical skills.
Experience with data analysis and interpretation.
Demonstrated successful account management.
Strong orientation towards customer service.
Highly organized and proactive, able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
