• Receive the customer and engage with the customer to understand the customer’s requirement.
• Introduce various product offerings to the customers and facilitate the customer’s buying decision.
• Prepare the estimate of the products selected and complete the sales transaction through the PDA Device.
• Achieve category-wise sales targets for the allocated section.
• Promote and enroll customers in schemes, highlighting and promoting their benefits.
• Support customers in the scheme opening process.
• Engage children with suitable gifts (balloons, coloring books, etc.).
• Understand the queries and complaints from the customer and address them with the right solution (take support from store leadership wherever required).
• Manage customer experience in the assigned section as per established guidelines, supporting all after-sales queries.
• Identify potential customers and refer them to the store.
• Telecalling (if applicable) - calling up new customers, inviting existing customers and leads for promotional events, campaigns, etc.
• Pack products appropriately according to the product category.
• Maintain proper and attractive display of the products at the appropriate counter, free from dust and dirt daily.
• Monitor stock in the section and ensure adequate stock for sales.
• Count and maintain the account of stock daily by managing the record of the opening stock and closing stock in the allocated section.
• Report the sold stock in the section for reordering to the sales manager for timely stock replenishment.
• Monitor dead stock and liaise with the store manager to minimize the same.
• Transfer stock to the locker at the close of the day; maintain the safety of jewelry displayed to customers and communicate promptly to superiors about any potential theft.
• Adhere to cost-saving practices undertaken in the store.
• Provide discounts within one’s limit, obtaining approval from store leadership for further discounting (if any).
• Billing - entering accurate details of customers (Name, Address, Date of Birth, etc.).
• Support the sales team in the collection of cash and card transactions from customers.
• Develop and maintain relationships and networks with competitors to leverage leading practices & learning to improve store-level processes.
• Provide support to the marketing team for potential customer visits and exhibitions.
• Any other additional responsibilities could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer, and HR.
