Job Description

Job Scope:

  1. Greeting/welcoming the guests in a warm and friendly manner.
  2. Approaching the guest and starting proactive communication.
  3. Assisting and advising guests to make purchases by recommending, describing, and demonstrating products.
  4. Efficiently handling computerized cash register that involves barcode scanners, calculators, and credit card machines.
  5. Collecting and processing money tendered transactions of different currencies, vouchers, stored value cards, and credit card payments.
  6. Arranging and maintaining product displays with approval, stock shelves (refill), and take product inventory.
  7. Applying product knowledge while handling guests and improving the same on a regular basis.
  8. Working on promotions and achieving set targets.
  9. Handling basic guest complaints on the spot.
  10. Ensuring a clean and safe environment.
  11. Ensuring all products displayed are properly labeled as per our brand standards.
  12. Assisting in quarterly and yearly inventory.
  13. Any other tasks that may be required from time to time to meet the needs of the business.
  14. Medically able to work in all weather conditions.
  15. Physically able to carry/lift items, climb ladders, etc.

Essential:

  1. Higher secondary or equivalent.
  2. Moderate verbal communication skills.
  3. Basic knowledge of cash-handling skills.
  4. Good communication skills.

Desirable:

  1. Previous retail experience.
  2. Previous experience in handling guest complaints.
  3. Any other language would be an advantage.
  4. Previous cash-handling skills.
