We're Hiring: Restaurant Supervisor

Location: UAE (Candidates currently in UAE preferred)

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our premium casual Italian-inspired, modern European dining concept. If you are passionate about hospitality, excel at managing teams, and can ensure smooth operations with attention to both service and reporting, this role is perfect for you!

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficient service and smooth workflow.
2. Lead and support front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and other team members, ensuring they perform at their best.
3. Conduct training programs for new hires and ongoing development for current staff to maintain high service standards.
4. Create and manage staff schedules, ensuring proper coverage during peak hours and monitoring staff performance.
5. Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing guest needs, resolving complaints, and delivering a personalized dining experience.
6. Monitor guest satisfaction and enhance the dining atmosphere by observing service and proactively improving where necessary.
7. Manage inventory for the front-of-house, coordinating with the kitchen team for efficient ordering, receiving, and stock management.
8. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including sanitation, cleanliness, and food handling practices.
9. Handle cash transactions, reconcile daily sales, and ensure proper cash management procedures.
10. Supervise the maintenance of front-of-house areas and equipment, ensuring everything is in working order and reporting any issues to the relevant department.
11. Prepare reports on daily revenue, inventory, staff performance, and other operational metrics.
12. Utilize MS Office software (Excel, Word, etc.) to perform data entry, analysis, and reporting tasks.
13. Implement solutions and processes that enhance operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.

What We're Looking For:

1. Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a restaurant supervisory role or similar experience.
2. Knowledge of Italian cuisine and modern European dining is a plus.
3. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to motivate the team and manage tasks efficiently.
4. Ability to handle guest feedback and improve service standards.
5. Attention to detail, creativity, and adaptability in managing various restaurant tasks and environments.
6. Basic knowledge of facility and equipment maintenance processes.
7. Computer skills and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.) for data management, reporting, and analysis.
8. Fluency in English; additional language skills (such as Arabic) are a plus.
9. UAE experience is preferred but not essential.
