Job Description

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

  1. Taking responsibility for the business performance of the restaurant.
  2. Analyzing and planning restaurant sales levels and profitability.
  3. Organizing marketing activities, such as promotional events and discount schemes.
  4. Preparing reports at the end of the shift/week, including staff control, food control, and sales.
  5. Creating and executing plans for department sales, profit, and staff development.
  6. Setting budgets and/or agreeing them with senior management.
  7. Coordinating the entire operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts.
  8. Managing staff and providing them with feedback.
  9. Responding to customer complaints.
  10. Ensuring that all employees adhere to the company's uniform standards.
  11. Meeting and greeting customers and organizing table reservations.
  12. Advising customers on menu and beverage choices.
  13. Recruiting, training, and motivating staff.
  14. Organizing and supervising the shifts of kitchen, waiting, and cleaning staff.
  15. Maintaining high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety.
  16. Checking stock levels and ordering supplies.
  17. Preparing cash drawers and providing petty cash as required.
  18. Helping in any area of the restaurant when circumstances dictate.
  19. Outlet Manager is responsible for the smooth operation of the outlet as governed by contract and deemed by operational requirements.
  20. Ensure all reports are completed correctly and sent to the corporate office daily.
  21. Ensure that all Company standards are adhered to.
  22. Create new revolutionary standards and keep ahead of industry trends.
  23. Identify and implement training plans to further develop self and subordinate restaurant employees.
  24. Conduct staff appraisals, regularly providing staff with performance feedback.

Primary Responsibilities:

Restaurant managers ensure that restaurants operate efficiently and profitably while maintaining their reputation and ethos. They must coordinate a variety of activities, whatever the size or type of the outlet. Managers are responsible for the business performance of their restaurant, as well as maintaining high standards of food, service, and health and safety.

  4. Must speak English fluently and be able to write in Basic English.
  5. Applicants to possess high school diplomas, or the equivalent.
  6. Be able to demonstrate basic math and organizational skills.
  7. Previous experience in inventory checking positions.
  8. Some knowledge in hygiene, cooking, and food service.
  9. Team Player.
