Restaurant Hostess

1. Greet guests as they enter and put them on a waiting list as necessary
2. Provide guests with menus and answer any initial questions
3. Seat guests at tables or in waiting areas
4. Assign guests to tables they prefer, while keeping table rotation in mind so that servers receive the right number of customers
5. Assist guests regarding food and beverage menu items in an informative and helpful way
6. Engage with guests to ensure they are happy with food and service
7. Respond to complaints and help to resolve them
8. Answer phone calls, take reservations and answer any inquiries
9. Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the Restaurant Manager
10. Build relationships with repeat guests to develop and drive guest loyalty and maximize revenues
11. Thorough knowledge of the resort and all facilities and offerings including but not limited to ongoing promotions and special events

Minimum Requirements:

1. Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel or restaurant
2. International experience preferred
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
