Restaurant Assistant Manager

Responsibilities

1. Assist the restaurant manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring smooth functioning of the restaurant.
2. Supervise and train staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
3. Monitor food quality and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
4. Manage inventory levels and order supplies to maintain sufficient stock for daily operations.
5. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback, and work towards resolving issues promptly.
6. Implement and enforce restaurant policies and procedures to maintain operational efficiency.
7. Assist in developing and implementing marketing and promotional strategies to attract customers and increase sales.
8. Prepare work schedules and assign duties to staff members to meet operational needs.
9. Monitor financial transactions, including cash handling and POS systems, to ensure accuracy and accountability.
10. Collaborate with the restaurant manager to set performance goals and targets for the team, and work towards achieving them.

Minimum Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
2. Minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory role in the restaurant industry
3. Strong communication and leadership skills
4. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
5. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
