Job description

Job Purpose

As a Resource Planning Manager, you will be responsible for short and long-term forecasting, planning, and scheduling of staff to maximize resource utilization. Your role will involve forming and operating the Global Workforce Management governance model and strategy for dnata Global Operations business units spanning 1,800+ employees across multiple sites.

In This Role, You Will

  • Forecast short-term and long-term workload and develop resource plans to ensure optimal workforce allocation.
  • Develop efficient shift patterns and schedules based on operational requirements and manage leave planning to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, shrinkage, and adherence. Identify potential risks in meeting service level targets and implement corrective actions.
  • Promote innovative solutions through team creativity and collaboration with dnata business units. Generate reports and insights to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Work closely with operations, HR, and finance teams to align workforce plans with business needs. Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making.
  • Act as the business owner of Resource Management software (e.g., Genesys Cloud WEM) and oversee its governance, maintenance, enhancements, and vendor collaboration.
  • Ensure cost-effective service delivery within the agreed budget.
  • Monitor and control costs through efficient management of staff, equipment, and facilities.
  • Develop "what-if" scenarios to identify potential cost savings and refine roster models based on demand fluctuations.
  • Work closely with the Resource Planning Team for real-time management and adherence.
  • Ensure a seamless, end-to-end governance and own strategies for Workforce Management processes and systems.
  • Work on ADHOC projects such as data integrations, etc.

Qualifications & Experience

To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years experience in Airport Operations and Contact Centres.
  • Working knowledge of resource management systems essential.

You’ll have an edge if you have:

  • Awareness of Cloud WFM software: e.g. Nice WFM / Genesys Cloud WFM / Verint / etc.
