Resident Engineer - House Connection and Miscellaneous Works

Description:

Stantec is looking to hire a Resident Engineer for Water Infrastructure Projects in Dubai.

Qualifications:

1. The candidate must have a Civil Engineering Degree and 20 years of extensive experience working on House Connection and Miscellaneous Works with approval from Dubai Municipality.
2. Experience in infrastructure projects in Dubai and completed projects as Resident Engineer (RE).
3. Full and complete knowledge of the existing sewerage and drainage networks in the Emirate of Dubai.
4. Experience working exclusively on DM projects.
5. Thorough knowledge and work experience of not less than 20 years in sewerage and drainage connections and miscellaneous works, including dealing with emergency works related to large diameters of pressure mains.
6. Ability to evaluate the time to complete emergency works, make on-the-spot decisions, and deal with all service authorities during emergencies.
7. Thorough knowledge and experience in the design of sewerage and drainage works.
8. Good knowledge of RTA standards with respect to methods of excavation and backfilling, asphalt, and tiles reinstatement.
