Stantec is looking to hire a Resident Engineer with experience in water Drainage and Storm water Networks in Dubai.

The selected candidate shall have a Civil Engineering Degree and 20 years of extensive experience working on Drainage and Storm water Network projects.

Qualifications:

• 20 years of experience in Drainage and Storm water Networks.
• A degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University.
• 15 years of experience in infrastructure works.
• Ability to make on-the-spot decisions and deal with all Service Authorities.
• Knowledge and experience in dealing with pipelines, Cables, Sewers, Manholes, VC, WO, AV, connection Chambers, and Pumping Station works, non-disruptive road crossings.
• Thorough knowledge and experience in the design of infrastructure works.
• Full knowledge of the existing infrastructure in the Emirates of Dubai.
• Familiarity with DM General Conditions of Contract, Quality Assurance, Quantity Surveying, and Project Network Techniques (Primavera).
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Primavera.
• Confident in ability to control the Works.
• Excellent written and communication skills (English), time management, and supervisory skills.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare instructions, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
• Capacity to make decisions.
• Ability to liaise with DM and other infrastructure Authorities.
