- Resident Engineer must have 20 years of experience in Drainage and Storm water Networks.
- The Resident Engineer must have a degree in civil engineering from a recognized University and must have thoughtful knowledge and work experience of not less than 15 years in infrastructure works. He must be able to take on the spot decisions and deal with all Service Authorities. He must have a thorough knowledge and experience in dealing with pipelines, cables, sewers, manholes, VC, WO, AV, connection chambers, and pumping station works, including non-disruptive road crossings. He must also have comprehensive knowledge and experience in the design of infrastructure works.
- The Resident Engineer must have full and complete knowledge of the existing infrastructure in the Emirates of Dubai.
- Familiarity with the DM General Conditions of Contract, quality assurance, quantity surveying, and project network techniques (Primavera) is required.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Primavera.
- Confident in his own ability to control the works.
- Excellent written and communication skills (English), time management, and supervisory skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare instructions, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
- Capacity to make decisions.
- Ability to liaise with DM and other infrastructure authorities.
