We have an exciting opportunity for you as Reservations Supervisor to join our enthusiastic team at Crowne Plaza Dubai Marina.

As a Reservations Supervisor, you are responsible for ensuring that the reservations team achieves or exceeds monthly sales targets. You will also ensure that our guests enjoy exceptional customer service and memorable experiences when visiting our properties. Key responsibilities include:

• Act as a main resource for reservation agents needing assistance technically or with regards to achieving customer satisfaction.
• Ensure reservation department and Front Office team are constantly aware of availability states: open, on request, closed dates, high demand dates, etc.
• Respond to all guest reservation requests and execute prompt, courteous, and accurate guest service at all times.
• Be fully knowledgeable about hotel guest rooms, rates, promotions, amenities, programs, hotel facilities, and services.
• Maintain department-approved quality assurance program to include, but not limited to, rates, deposits, property descriptions, activity tables, and reservations letters.
• Manage reservation function to maintain the highest possible room occupancy and average daily rate through suggestive selling and recommendations from external yield or revenue management systems (e.g., Ideas).
• Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules, assign duties, and expedite workflow for reservation agents.
• Manage all aspects of the reservation department in the absence of the revenue & reservation manager.

The ideal candidate must have 3 to 5 years of progressive work-related experience in the same role in a 5-star city hotel in Dubai and possess strong capabilities in handling technical aspects of revenue-generating mediums. Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure of deadlines and ever-shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment. Must promote and ensure good inter-departmental relations. Also, must be a team player, have strong interpersonal skills, and work well independently as well as part of a team, with a flexible attitude and ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
