  • Previous experience working as a Reservations Agent in a Luxury Hotel.
  • A passion for delivering great customer service.
  • A highly professional telephone manner and excellent communication skills.
  • Outstanding administration and organizational skills.
  • Very good computer proficiency.

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities:

  • Arabic speaking skills.
  • OnQ experience.
  • Forbes 5 stars standards knowledge.

A Reservations Agent at Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre will serve as the main contact for room reservations and for incoming phone calls at the hotel.

What will I be doing

As a Reservations Agent at Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre you will serve as the first line of inquiry for room reservations and incoming guest calls within the hotel. A Reservations Agent is responsible for offering guest Forbes standards service options and other solutions to meet Guests needs. Specifically, a Reservations Agent will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Answer internal and external phone calls and ensure positive outcomes for all guest queries and room reservation requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Complete room reservations while using the OnQ property management system.
  • Accept and deliver messages promptly and correctly for both Guests and management.
  • Ensure wakeup calls are scheduled and take place at the correct time.
  • Respond positively to sales inquiries to develop future sales leads.
  • Respond to all guests in a highly professional manner including ensuring all reservations are completed accurately and to the Guests' expectation.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the hotel facilities and ongoing promotions and use upselling techniques to promote these offerings when appropriate.
  • Handle emergency calls immediately and relay comprehensive and accurate information.
  • Provide prompt and efficient service while maintaining the hotel's brand standards.
