Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients a Researcher - Crypto - candidates need to be based in Europe or Asia.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical and market research across key protocols and technologies and emerging trends, delivering insights for both internal and external audiences.
• Cultivate relationships with researchers, developers, academic institutions, and investors, extending the reach of our research and laying the foundations for strategic investments and partnerships.
• Lead technical due diligence efforts to evaluate potential investments and strategic partnerships.
• Monitor and synthesize industry developments to provide strategic recommendations for investments, partnerships, and product development.
• Propose and develop innovative research topics, prioritizing areas with the potential to drive significant impact in the community and on our business.
• Represent us at conferences and events, participating in panels, networking, and identifying new opportunities for collaboration.
• Support the organization's strategic initiatives by contributing technical and strategic analyses of protocols, technologies, and market dynamics.
• Track and engage with blockchain protocol developments through technical documentation, GitHub repositories, governance forums, and developer communities.
• Propose proof-of-concept projects to validate research findings and explore new opportunities.
• Your ultimate goal: Become a go-to source for our team, our partners, and the wider community in your domain of expertise.

• Active Twitter presence (able to name 2-3 influential followers).
• Technical background (math/engineering degree, coding skills in Python, Solidity, etc.).
• Experience conducting research and analysis in crypto or across other emerging technologies.
• Experience leading technical due diligence efforts to evaluate potential investments and strategic partnerships.
