Position Overview

KU is seeking a highly motivated Research Scientist or Post-doctoral Fellow to work on a KU funded project for developing a new type of energy storage device. The aim of the project is to develop a new concept of high energy density storage and fast charging devices. The project will investigate different structures, 2D nanomaterials, and designs to optimize the energy storage density and charging speed. The physical model will be developed and the operation mechanism will be established. Then the energy storage device will be tested for reliable applications in other electronics.

As part of the project, the researcher will have access to state-of-the-art research equipment and facilities at KU and at the System on Chip Centre (https://www.ku.ac.ae/socc), and will get an opportunity to work alongside researchers and graduate students from various backgrounds as part of a wider team.
