Prior experience in the oil & gas sector is preferred, with knowledge and expertise in coiled tubing equipment and hydraulic workover systems highly desirable.
In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with microprocessor and controller-based systems, including system architecture, components, and interfaces.
Ability to design and implement solutions using fundamental embedded programming concepts. Proficiency in firmware programming with C language and basic assembly language skills. Experience with embedded debugging IDE, such as TI Code Composer Studio.
Hands-on experience in the design of high-temperature electronic systems, encompassing component selection, qualification, and PCB assembly practices.
Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, P&IDs, flow charts, and cause-and-effect diagrams.
Capable of drafting comprehensive engineering documents, including design specifications, test plans, test procedures, and user manuals. Familiarity with engineering tools and methodologies such as Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Design of Experiments (DoE), etc.
Prepare and deliver project status reports regularly to various stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to mentor junior engineers as needed.

Required Expertise
Proficiency in common PCB design CAD tools, with the ability to comprehend circuit functionality through schematic analysis. Understanding of PCB layout practices to minimize noise, reflection, crosstalk, and ground bounce.
Knowledge and hands-on experience with common interface protocols, such as I2C, SPI, RS485, RS232, CAN, USB, etc.
Familiarity with sensor analog front interfaces and basic concepts of sensor calibration.
Basic understanding of various filters, amplifier topologies, and architecture. Ability to perform simulations to verify designs.
Knowledge and hands-on experience with ADC, DAC, LDO, and switching power supply topologies.
Education Requirement
Skills acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline and must have 2-5 years of work-related experience. Completion of a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline is preferred.
