The Research Manager will initiate, develop and lead a variety of research activities that support Flare’s strategic objectives. They will be instrumental in defining the research strategy, executing research projects, and disseminating findings to both internal and external audiences.
This role requires a deep understanding of web3 technologies, DeFi, oracles, cross-chain applications, and current trends in the web3 ecosystem, alongside a robust knowledge of financial markets and trading systems.

Responsibilities:
Inquiry: Conduct detailed market research to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities.
Analysis: Deep analysis of the competitive landscape to provide actionable insights to inform product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and product teams to understand features, capabilities, and differentiators, translating them into compelling marketing initiatives.
Documentation: Develop and maintain research documentation, including market analysis reports, competitor analysis, and end-user profiles.
Support: Work with the team in the execution of launch plans for new developments and product features, ensuring alignment with market needs and organizational goals.
Informed: Stay on top of industry trends, and technological advancements that could impact Flare’s market positioning.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field.
Research Background: Proven experience in market research, marketing analysis, or a similar role within the blockchain, fintech, or technology sectors.
Crypto Native: Strong understanding of blockchain technology and the cryptocurrency market. decentralized finance (DeFi), oracles, cross-chain applications, and current trends within the web3 ecosystem is a must.
Finance: Extensive understanding of financial markets and trading systems is a must.
Technical: Proficient in research methodologies and statistical analysis tools. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Collaboration: A demonstrated capacity to engage effectively with industry partners, academic institutions, and internal teams.
