Job description

What You Will Be Doing

To perform all sales related activities for potential and existing customers through effective sourcing of primary and related banking products, in order to achieve the assigned financial targets while adhering to the bank's policies, ethics and code of conduct.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Sales: Actively promote and sell personal banking products (PL|CC) to achieve and surpass agreed-upon sales targets.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Identify and cultivate relationships with organizations for establishing company tie-ups to drive credit card sales.
  • Sales & Market Insight: Provide regular market intelligence, including competitor analysis and feedback, to the Direct Sales Manager on a weekly basis.
  • Promotional Activities: Organize and execute promotional events, group meetings, and roadshows to generate leads and meet sales objectives.
  • Sales Planning & Reporting: Contribute to the annual budgeting process by setting sales targets and forecasting performance.
  • Client Presentations: Deliver compelling presentations to potential corporate partners, showcasing the benefits of a strategic banking tie-up.
  • Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to cross-sell other bank products and services to existing and potential clients.
  • Continuous Improvement: Analyse market trends and competitor offerings, providing recommendations for product and process improvements to optimize sales.

What You Should Have :

  • Proven Sales Acumen: Demonstrated experience in a sales-focused role, with a strong drive to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Exceptional Communicator: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to persuade and influence others.
  • Results-Driven: A track record of successfully achieving budgeted sales volumes and consistently meeting or exceeding objectives.
  • Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of personal banking products (PL|CC), as well as the competitive landscape.
  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to identify strategic partnership opportunities and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse market data and provide valuable insights for product development and sales strategy.
  • Proactive & Self-Motivated: A self-starter with a proactive approach to sales and a strong work ethic.

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in banking or financial services, with a focus on Business Banking or Retail banking portfolio management.
  • Experience in relationship building and management.
  • Knowledge about retail banking products.
