Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of individuals who have incurred an injury or have a disability and developing strategies to help them achieve their vocational and functional goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' physical, emotional, and social capabilities in relation to their work abilities.
2. Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans based on assessment findings and client goals.
3. Collaborate with clients, their families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to rehabilitation.
4. Provide counseling, coaching, and support to clients in order to promote self-reliance and independence.
5. Monitor clients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
6. Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of clients' progress and treatment plans.
7. Attend case conferences and liaise with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care for clients.
8. Keep up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in rehabilitation.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field such as Rehabilitation Counseling, Occupational Therapy, or Psychology.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a rehabilitation or disability management role.
3. Strong understanding of medical terminology, injury/illness management, and vocational rehabilitation.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders.
5. Ability to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
7. Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to rehabilitation services.
