The Compliance Officer supports the Compliance Senior Specialist in ensuring that activities comply with the regulatory framework and relevant regulations. This role involves providing administrative assistance and handling compliance-related documentation and tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance Administrative Support:
Assist the Senior Specialist with daily compliance processes and procedures.
Support the creation and maintenance of documentation related to compliance breaches.
Provide effective and responsive administrative support for the Compliance Senior Specialist and the Regulatory Affairs Director.
Prioritize daily activities to ensure timely completion of urgent and important tasks.
Communicate and escalate issues to the Compliance Senior Specialist as needed.
Identify opportunities for process improvements to reduce inefficiencies.
Ensure the accuracy, validity, and completeness of information using appropriate tools and systems.
Maintain organized records, databases, and documents.
Ensure accurate reporting to the Compliance Senior Specialist.
Shared (Non-Supervisory) Activities:
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as requested by the direct manager.
Adhere to departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to maintain a controlled and consistent work environment.
Demonstrate adherence to organizational values and ethics to foster a value-driven culture.
Contribute to continuous improvement and sustainability efforts by considering global standards, productivity enhancements, and cost reductions.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., law, literature, business studies) from an internationally recognized institution accredited in the United Arab Emirates.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in regulatory affairs, compliance, operational/service-oriented organizations, or related areas.
Exposure to compliance and/or internal audit in previous roles is desirable.
Industry-related training (optional).
Experience with CRM systems.
Skills
Full professional proficiency in English & Arabic (speaking and writing).
Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel).
Excellent administrative skills and attention to detail.
Self-motivated with a proven ability to complete work in a timely manner.
