Apple is seeking a Product Compliance Manager who will be responsible for supporting product certification and ensuring all requirements are met for importation and sale of Apple products in the Middle East and North Africa region. You will develop and implement strategies to facilitate engagements on regulatory and spectrum matters with external agencies and government regulatory authorities on matters concerning rules and policy as required to support Apple’s product roadmap.
Description
As Product Compliance Manager at Apple, you will be responsible for managing new product introduction certification; maintaining all existing certifications with timely renewals, and managing all RF product certifications with local regulators. You will be responsible for interfacing with spectrum management on regional matters to scope the radio frequency spectrum landscape, as well as supporting Carrier Engineering teams on new cellular services mandated by regulatory authorities, CBS, VoLTE, VoWiFi, AML, etc. Along with a competent team, the Product Compliance Manager will be responsible for managing all regional certifications in Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Jordan, Egypt, Oman, Iraq, Lebanon, Palestine, Tunisia, Libya, Morocco, Algeria. This includes tracking new regulations and standard developments. You will be responsible for supporting the cross-functional team on business developments and expansion into current and new markets, as well as supporting the Trade Compliance and business teams on import challenges due to any product classification disputes. Further responsibilities include managing and supporting the development of IMEI reporting to promote market access strategies, developing comprehensive certification plans and strategies for NPIs, and ensuring internal documentation and processes are maintained and up to date. Study new regulations and spectrum developments working closely with regulators, policymakers, standardization bodies, industry associations, and business chambers to come up with compliance requirements and comprehensive strategies.
