Our client is a global leader in providing advanced diagnostic test equipment, software, and services tailored for the electric power industry. They deliver innovative solutions that ensure the reliability, safety, and efficiency of power systems worldwide. With a strong commitment to quality, sustainability, and customer satisfaction, they are expanding their presence in the Middle East region and are seeking a dynamic Regional Sales Manager to lead business development efforts across the region.

Position Overview:

The Regional Sales Manager will play a critical role in driving sales growth and market penetration for our client's diagnostic test equipment, software, and services within the electric power industry in the Middle East, with a focus on the UAE and surrounding regions. This position requires a strategic, results-oriented sales professional with experience in the power and utilities sector, who can build relationships, develop new business opportunities, and manage key accounts effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive regional sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market share within the Middle East.
  • Identify and target key customers including electric power utilities, industrial plants, and service providers in the power sector.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align sales efforts with broader company goals.
  • Business Development: Prospect for new business opportunities and nurture relationships with existing customers to increase product and service adoption.
  • Establish a deep understanding of customer needs and provide tailored solutions that add value and solve key challenges.
  • Promote the company's diagnostic equipment, software, and service offerings through presentations, demonstrations, and customer meetings.
  • Account Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers within existing accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and continued business.
  • Oversee the entire sales process from initial contact through to contract negotiation, order fulfillment, and post-sale support.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify growth opportunities.
  • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates to senior management, ensuring targets are met and exceeded.
  • Work closely with the marketing, technical support, and service teams to ensure customer needs are met and any technical challenges are addressed effectively.
  • Coordinate with regional distributors and partners to expand reach and enhance sales efforts.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in sales or business development within the electric power industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of diagnostic test equipment, software, and services used in power systems.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining a customer-focused approach.
  • Experience working in the Middle East region, with a strong network within the electric power industry, is highly desirable.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the region as required.
