Roles and responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Sales Manager to oversee sales operations in the GCC region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving sales growth, managing client relationships, and executing strategic plans in the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) software/SaaS sector. In this role, you will be responsible for meeting sales targets, developing and implementing strategies, analysing market trends, and building strong relationships with key clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Implement Sales Strategies:

  • Create regional sales plans and quotas aligned with business goals.
  • Drive sales growth by developing and executing strategies to meet and exceed targets.
  • Manage relationships with existing partners and identify upsell opportunities.

Market Analysis:

  • Analyse regional market trends to identify new business opportunities.
  • Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs and preferences.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients in the GCC region.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from identifying new business opportunities to closing deals.
  • Oversee renewals of annual agreements and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare and present sales reports and performance metrics to senior management.
  • Track sales data and provide insights to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments.

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage the regional sales budget.
  • Ensure efficient resource allocation to optimize sales performance.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a senior sales role, within the BFSI software/SaaS industry.
  • Strong track record of exceeding sales quotas and achieving business growth.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to analyse market trends and sales data to make informed decisions.
  • Extensive personal network within the BFSI industry and GCC region.
  • Highly motivated, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
