Currently, we are seeking a Regional Sales Director for one of the most prominent Middle Eastern brands specializing in food production and distribution.
Job Overview: The Regional Sales Director is responsible for developing and implementing global sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion. This role involves overseeing international sales teams, managing key accounts, identifying new market opportunities, and ensuring consistent revenue growth in diverse regions. The successful candidate will have a strong background in international sales, cross-cultural management, and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development: Design and implement global sales strategies aligned with company objectives. Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and new opportunities.
Team Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing international sales team. Establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate team performance and effectiveness.
Market Expansion: Identify and penetrate new markets, ensuring alignment with regional legal and cultural standards. Develop partnerships with distributors, resellers, and other key stakeholders.
Revenue Growth: Drive consistent revenue growth by setting clear goals and ensuring accountability. Manage pricing strategies and negotiate major contracts with key accounts.
Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with key international clients and stakeholders. Act as a point of escalation to address client issues and ensure satisfaction.
Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations to align sales strategies with broader company objectives. Provide input on product or service adaptations for specific markets.
Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all sales activities comply with relevant international trade laws and regulations. Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Business, or a related field.
Experience: 15+ years of experience in international sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in global markets.
Skills: Exceptional leadership and team management abilities. Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Deep understanding of cultural differences and international business practices. Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools. Multilingual skills are highly desirable.
