The Successful Applicant
To be a successful candidate for this role:

  • Bi-lingual skills (highly preferable due to industry nuances - English AND Arabic)
  • Minimum 10 years experience (sales) exposure to banking technologies, core banking product sales, hardware, and infrastructure
  • GCC or MEA experience with respect to the BFSI industry
  • Strong understanding of the technical and regulatory nature of banking technology and the environment
  • People leadership skills (you must have people sales management experience of at least 3 years)
  • Leadership: Strong ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a sales team to achieve targets and foster a positive work environment.
  • Strategic Planning: Skills in developing and implementing effective sales strategies that align with company goals and market trends.
  • Sales Acumen: Deep understanding of sales processes, techniques, and best practices to drive revenue growth.
  • Market Analysis: Ability to analyze market conditions, customer demographics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for expansion.
  • Performance Management: Experience in setting sales targets, monitoring performance, and providing constructive feedback to team members.
  • Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills for developing and maintaining relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey strategies, updates, and feedback.
  • Negotiation Skills: Proficiency in negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize profitability while meeting client needs.
  • Financial Acumen: Understanding of financial metrics and budgeting to manage resources effectively and forecast sales performance.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify challenges and develop strategic solutions to overcome obstacles in the sales process.
