The Successful Applicant
To be a successful candidate for this role:
- Bi-lingual skills (highly preferable due to industry nuances - English AND Arabic)
- Minimum 10 years experience (sales) exposure to banking technologies, core banking product sales, hardware, and infrastructure
- GCC or MEA experience with respect to the BFSI industry
- Strong understanding of the technical and regulatory nature of banking technology and the environment
- People leadership skills (you must have people sales management experience of at least 3 years)
- Leadership: Strong ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a sales team to achieve targets and foster a positive work environment.
- Strategic Planning: Skills in developing and implementing effective sales strategies that align with company goals and market trends.
- Sales Acumen: Deep understanding of sales processes, techniques, and best practices to drive revenue growth.
- Market Analysis: Ability to analyze market conditions, customer demographics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for expansion.
- Performance Management: Experience in setting sales targets, monitoring performance, and providing constructive feedback to team members.
- Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills for developing and maintaining relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey strategies, updates, and feedback.
- Negotiation Skills: Proficiency in negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize profitability while meeting client needs.
