Job Title: Channel Sales Manager East and West Africa

Location: Remote in Dubai or based in East or West Africa

About the Role

As the Channel Sales Manager for East and West Africa, you will drive sales growth by developing and managing relationships with channel partners, resellers, and distributors in this diverse region. Your focus will be on advancing the adoption of TP-Link's portfolio of networking products, developing business plans with partners, and achieving revenue targets.

What You Will Do

  1. Channel Relationship Management
    Develop and maintain robust relationships with channel partners, resellers, and distributors in East and West Africa.
    Understand partners' business objectives, strategies, and challenges to provide tailored support.
    Collaborate on joint business plans with partners to drive revenue growth and meet strategic objectives.
    Conduct regular reviews with partners to track performance, identify opportunities, and address issues.
    Train and enable partners on TP-Link's products, value propositions, and sales strategies.
    Offer technical and product expertise to support partners with pre-sales activities and solution design.
    Work closely with internal teams to provide sales tools, resources, and marketing materials.
    Ensure partners are well-equipped to effectively promote and sell TP-Link products.
    Identify, onboard, and nurture new channel partners and resellers within the assigned region.
    Analyze the competitive landscape to identify business opportunities and expand market reach.
    Execute joint marketing and demand generation campaigns with partners.
    Drive partner engagement through participation in sales and marketing initiatives, including trade shows and industry events.
  2. Performance Tracking and Reporting
    Monitor partner performance against sales targets and KPIs.
    Analyze data and market trends to uncover areas for improvement and develop actionable plans.
    Provide regular reporting on partner activities, pipeline, and revenue forecasts.
    Conduct business reviews with internal stakeholders, sharing insights and recommendations.
  3. Market Intelligence and Competitive Analysis
    Stay informed on market trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies to spot new opportunities.
    Conduct competitor analysis to understand market positioning and pricing strategies.
    Offer insights to internal stakeholders on product positioning, competitive differentiation, and pricing.
    Drive sales strategies for TP-Link's full product suite, including consumer networking, B2B solutions, smart home products, and CCTV solutions.

What Talent Do You Bring

Experience: 3+ years in IT, networking, or electronics sales within the channel market, ideally in East or West Africa.
Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Language Skills: Bilingual proficiency in English and a local language (preferred).
Sales and Channel Expertise: Demonstrated success in channel management, preferably in networking or IT.
Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of networking products, technologies, and industry trends.
Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to build relationships across all levels.
Collaborative Spirit: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Results-Oriented: Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis to guide decisions and identify trends.
Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and proactively.
Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel to meet with partners and attend events as needed.
